Why I love you, I'll never know

I really never have any time to write, which is a shame as I need to keep a log of all the things I've been up to!

After an amazing brunch at the end of our Sprachkurs, we took a short bike trip to Ladenburg. During said trip, I was moaning about how I missed the sea, so we had the bright idea of jumping in the Neckar with all our clothes on. Then we continued the journey, bought some amazing humous, bread and wine and had a picnic in the sun to dry off. Food, friends and the end of summer...perfect.

We also went to Canstatter Wasen/Volksfest Stuttgart's version of Oktoberfest which I have been to once before. I'd like to think it's better than Munich as is not so much of a tourist trap and a little smaller so not too overwhelming. We had a great day in the sunshine and I made a promise to buy myself a dirndl!

I also spent a few days in Strasbourg, which was brilliant and great to practice my French! We spent the days eating foie gras, gooood wine, enjoying real pain au chocolats again, taking boat rides and parties and climbing cathedrals (where I got bit by a spider we think, yikes!). I really had such a lovely time and spent it with such a good friend and amazing person.

My university classes started yesterday so this first week is mostly introducing the course and syllabus so I'm excited for what the next 16 weeks will bring!
